I've used these at track days and on the street on my zx6r and zx10r with good results. They have more grip than other dot tires I've used 2ct, 016, s20 etc. and give an extra feeling of safety at high lean angles. I usually get about 1400 miles of hard riding out of a set.

In the past, Avon Race Tyres was my sponsor for years, they worked ok, wore out quickly, but at the time, was free for me.. Well, times change. Avon began to charge me for a tire which was not comparable or even used heavily among racers. I always knew about the Dunlop line, but had decent luck with Avon. So, I started to run the Sportmax GPs. Wow, what a tire, good wear, a predictable tire when sliding it and coming out of the corners. Now, Im running the D211's. I will never go to another tire ever again. What I found out that is key on D211's, is suspension setup, and PSI. With a good combination, your D211's will last (at least for me) 2-4 races. What I mean lasting up to 4 race weekends, the tire will wear unevenly, depending which track, and I'll be well past the wear marks, one more thing, as the tire wears out, you will see the little balls of rubber appearing on the edge, of course we all know this is normal, but what most may not know, your tire balance will be off, maybe not by much, but enough for me to add or move the weight around. I run the rec. PSI's, 22 hot rear / 30 hot front. Works for me, no tearing, tire never seemed to get greasy on hot days. Race Tire Services is the best, my tires come to me in a box. Very good service. I am sold. V/R Scott old racer

Amazing tire for track days. They warm up fast without heaters. The feedback is perfect, discards the unnecesary feedback that simple road tires give but proportion enough to let you know what you need on the track. This is the first set of DOT´s most intended for track days. I´ve ran about everything meant mostly for road use: Michelins 2c, Bridgestones 016, Pirellis diablo everything, Metzelers raceteck (in the order as "I feel" they handle better). But these GP211 tires are better! by far! Be sure to use them at the correct air pressure and be ready also because the construction is harder, way harder, so if you come from a simple DOT tire you (and your back) will feel the difference. However, you will smile while cornering faster and more confident than ever. Did already 1 track day at Circuit of the Americas and a Local track day in Monterrey Mexico with the set. They are about half life and I´m ok with that durabilty! THEY ARE F... WORTH IT!
Have not used them on the street FYI.

The tires performed better than i expected. Ive been using michelins for 5 years and decided to switch to a lower cost tire. I was afraid lower cost would mean lower quality but i was wrong. These tires performed better than what i was used too. Excellent grip in varying conditions and temperature and they seem to last longer as well
